Playground Fun and Photo Fridays 07.02.10

Yesterday was such a beautiful day. It was partly sunny and in the 70's. We took advantage of the great weather by joining Auntie Laura, Uncle Nick, Bridget, and Nonna for a trip to Lake Quannapowitt and the playground they have there.

Here are Bridget and Sarah strapped in and ready to go. I just can't get over how tiny Bridget is and that Sarah and Abigail used to be that tiny!

Abigail played with her Uncle Nick pretty much the whole time we were there. It was nice to relax a bit and not have to chase Abigail around. Plus, she loves playing with Uncle Nick (and I think Uncle Nick likes to play too ;-). I missed it, but my sister took a few shots of the two of them swinging. Apparently Abigail copied whatever Nick did while swinging. Cute!

This was Bridget's first trip to a playground. She took a nice long nap while everyone else played.

Of course Sarah's been to the park before, but has never gone on anything. This was the first time that she went for a swing. I think it is safe to say she is not a fan, at least not now. She also went down the slide with help from Nonna. I think though that Sarah preferred just hanging out with the adults and people watching (oh, and also chewing on her sunglasses).

It was a great day to get out. It was even better going with family and for once outnumbering the little ones 4 to 3!
