A Stroll in the City

We got to spend all day Saturday with Grandma and Papa Kapaldo. It turned out to be a beautiful day so we decided to go into Boston and walk around the city. We parked downtown for convenience (which ended up being cheaper than parking outside the city and taking the train).

We walked through the Boston Common to Faneuil Hall and then to the Harbor. Abigail walked with me from the Common to Faneuil Hall and then let me put her in the stroller. Once we got to the Harbor we let both of the girls walk around for a bit.

The girls weren't too happy when we insisted they go back in the stroller on the way back to the car. I think they were both a bit tired and maybe hungry. We still managed to have a nice time despite all the whining/crying (at least the Grandparents didn't seem to mind it, though I admit it bothered me!).

We had dinner at the Macaroni Grill, which went really well. Our girls aren't always angels, but I have to brag, they're pretty well-behaved when we visit restaurants.

We are so glad Grandma and Papa made the trip up for Abigail's birthday! We look forward to seeing them again for Uncle James' graduation in a few weeks!
